In preparation for her appearance at the SCOTT JOPLIN INTERNATIONAL RAGTIME FESTIVAL in Sedalia, MO June 1-4, Squeek will perform a recital of piano music from the ragtime era, 1890–1920, featuring the compositions of Scott Joplin and other male composers but focussing on the Ragtime compositions by women composers of that era who have largely been forgotten. The 2022 JOPLIN ragtime Festival is dedicated to these women composers.
